A well-established company in Kuwait is looking to hire a Safety Officer (Local candidates from Kuwait only). The Safety Officer ensures the health and safety of employees and visitors at the workplace. They are responsible for implementing and maintaining safety policies, procedures, and standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections: Regularly assess the workplace for hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement safety programs: Create and manage safety training, emergency response plans, and accident investigations.
- Investigate accidents: Analyze incidents to find root causes and suggest preventive actions.
- Enforce safety regulations: Ensure compliance with safety and health laws.
- Provide safety training: Educate employees on safety procedures, equipment use, and emergency response.
- Monitor safety performance: Track safety metrics and identify trends to improve workplace safety.
- Collaborate with management: Work with leadership to align safety with overall business strategy.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and health laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
- Only Arab Nationals eligible.
