The authority has collaborated with other government departments, including the Licensing Department, to finalize these updated regulations. The new fee schedule applies to 82 different services, with charges ranging from a few fils to 500 Kuwaiti Dinars.
Updated Fees for Key Services
- Destruction of Imported Food:
- 50 KD for the first 100 kilograms.
- 100 KD for quantities over 100 kg up to one ton.
- 50 KD for each additional ton.
- A 20 KD daily fee for delays exceeding 30 days after the destruction notification.
- Re-exporting Imported Food: 50 KD per transaction.
- Representative Accreditation: 20 KD per representative annually for companies, institutions, and clearance offices.
- Clearance Office Authorization: 20 KD per authorization annually for a single company.
- Renewing Importer Registration: 15 KD per renewal.
- Importing Food for Personal Use: 1 KD per person and 20 KD per company per request.
